Biography
I am passionate about helping others see overlooked possibilities and to access untapped potential. Leaders, especially, can feel pulled between those above them and the teams they manage. I support them in carving out time to be strategic and to lead with clarity, direction, and purpose.
I bring diverse, wide-ranging professional experience to my coaching (I worked at a national, Time Inc.-backed magazine, a dot-com startup, and a top public university) as well as deep-seated intuition, compassion and warmth, and a dry sense of humor. While I now make my home in St. Louis, I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 30 years, which informs my sensibility in myriad ways. I hold a CPCC from the Co-Active Training Institute and a PCC credential through ICF. I am also a Certified Positive Intelligence Coach. Before coming to coaching, I worked in communications. I have an M.A. in Instructional Design from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in Creative Writing and English Literature from University of Wisconsin Madison. In addition, I have a wellspring of knowledge of professional tennis, which is the origin of my business's name, Changeover Coaching.
