Approach
Nadine brings a thoughtful approach to her coaching with all levels of leaders. She helps the client surface their goals, and then create and work on an action plan that achieves their desired results – solving a business problem, handling a people issue, developing personal leadership, executive presence, or planning their career. When coaching leaders in transition she works with the leader to quickly transition into their new role, align their goals, and build stakeholder relationships.
Experience
Nadine Kouba has twenty-five+ years of experience working with leaders at all levels. Her experience includes executive and individual contributor coaching, intact leadership team development, as well as, succession planning and leadership program development and facilitation. She is an executive coach for the Washington Univerity of St. Louis EMBA program.
Nadine’s career has included internal organization effectiveness consulting and leadership development roles with Boeing, GKN Aerospace, Mallinckrodt, Famous Barr, Maritz, AmerenUE, Correctional Medical Systems, and The Jewish Hospital at Washington University. She is an experienced executive leader, having had responsibility for talent management and succession planning at two organizations which included coaching high potentials as well as conducting in-tact leadership team building sessions. And, she also led the design and delivery of leadership development programs for two other companies. As an internal consultant, Nadine worked closely with managers to assess needs and implement strategies to meet their objectives. These strategies included conducting knowledge and skill assessments; designing, developing, and delivering training in numerous technical and management areas; leading work process development as well as quality process improvement efforts; facilitating strategic planning processes; conducting team building sessions and serving as an individual or group coach. Typical functions Nadine has worked with include: Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Program Management, QA, Commercial, IT, R & D, Finance, Sales, and Human Resources.
Education
Nadine earned a Ph.D. in Education - Higher Education Leadership from St. Louis University, as well as a Masters and B.S. in Education from Kent State University in Ohio. She is a certified user of the Executive Presence Index (ExPI), Leadership Versatility Index 360 (LVI), Hogan Assessment, Hogan Teams Assessment, Hogan 360, Teams EI Assessment, the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Inventory (MBTI), The Leadership Circle, the Catalyst Tool and the Trust Catalyst Tool. In addition, she is a certified instructor for Leadership Through People Skills, Situational Leadership II, and Juran Quality Process Improvement Team Leader training.
Credentials
Nadine earned a graduate certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas, as well as a Professional Coach Certification (PCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF). She also holds a Leader As Coach certificate from Personnel Dimensions International (PDI).
