Interim President

Nadine works with her clients to enhance their development and accelerate their business. This includes managing overwhelm, solving a business problem, growing their executive presence, handling a people issue, developing personal leadership, or planning their career. When working with clients Nadine leverages 25+ years of experience designing and delivering leadership development experiences, developing executives, conducting in-tact leadership team building, and coaching high potentials. Nadine brings business expertise spanning eight different industries, government, education and not for profit, which allows her to bring a powerful mix of strategy, empathy, and real-world insights to her client engagements. She has worked globally and nationally. Nadine is an experienced executive in leadership and organizational development and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation.

Vice President

Lynette Robinson is a Certified Life and Leadership Coach. With a compelling story of career transformation and a passion for coaching, Lynette is on a mission to empower individuals and organizations to reach their highest potential. Her journey is a testament to the transformative power of perseverance, education, and self-belief.

In her current role as a Director of Operations, Lynette plays a pivotal role in shaping the success of small businesses. Her leadership and strategic thinking have been instrumental in driving growth and innovation with her clients. She's a visionary who combines her corporate experience with her coaching expertise to foster a holistic approach to leadership and personal development. 

As a Mom of two daughters, Lynette not only balances her roles as a Mother and Entrepreneur, she excels in them. Her ability to navigate the complexities of modern life while building thriving businesses is an inspiration to many. Her coaching philosophy revolves around the awareness that personal and professional growth are intertwined, and her mission is to guide others toward their true purpose.

Secretary

Maggie Kloppenberg is a certified life coach and holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation. She also earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology, and a certificate in Multicultural Studies, from the University of Missouri - Columbia. With a solid foundation in understanding human behavior and societal dynamics, she brings a multidimensional approach to her coaching.

While building her career in the nonprofit sector over the last 15 years, Maggie has cultivated a profound sense of purpose in helping individuals improve their lives. She most recently worked as a transformation coach and career development coach at Rung for Women where she coached more than 100 women to overcome fears and limiting beliefs, create healthier habits, navigate career transitions, create action plans, and work through obstacles to achieve personal
and professional goals.

Maggie created her coaching business, Flourish Forward, to provide space and support to help women overcome negative self-talk, reconnect with their true selves, establish boundaries to prioritize their needs, and own their power to create a life they love. In her free time, Maggie enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time outside.

Treasurer

Lara Thornley Hall is a Certified Life Coach who develops and delivers corporate and personal coaching programs focused on helping professionals set and reach their career and personal goals. She founded her own company, Thought Renovations, in 2021. Prior to her focus on Life Coaching, Lara was a VP of Operations in Federal Government IT consulting, she is a Project Management Professional and a CPA from Australia. She has a Masters of International Management with honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (ASU). She lives in Wildwood, MO, with her husband, 11 yr old, and adorable rescue dog. Her pastimes include baking bread and drinking wine.

Karen Kriegshauser has been in the financial services industry since 1986. She worked in Bank brokerage first and then started at Edward Jones in May of 1998. Karen just celebrated 25 years at Edward Jones. She holds a series 7, series 66, series 24 and insurance licenses. She has been an investment advisor, sales manager, wholesaler, trainer, coach, and consultant.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.  Karen holds an Associate Certified Coach designation with the International Coach Federation.  

Julie Bergfeld

Program Director Chair

Julie Bergfeld coaches adults 50 and older to feel their youngest by changing their relationship with food, movement and mindfulness. Through her signature SOAR methodology, Julie guides her clients to lasting success.

An accomplished marathon and ultra-marathon runner, she was once the USATF Women’s 50K Trail champion. The cumulative stress to both body and mind took its toll and she vowed to learn to heal herself. Although her degrees in French Literature and Journalism hadn’t prepared her for it, as an avid learner she became a Human Potential coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Teacher, Nutritionist and Human Movement Specialist in addition to being a Certified Tiny Habits coach. Ultimately, she founded her own yoga studio Metro Power Yoga where she applied all her wisdom and was considered THE place for athletes to chill out.

Julie has been a guest on the podcast Mindful Money and a guest expert on several Tiny Habits Academy Panels. She is a sought-after teacher, workshop facilitator and speaker on topics related to sustenance, mindset, movement and sleep.

DEI Director
Joani is a coach, facilitator, educator, consultant, speaker and leader experienced in coaching, leadership development, executive assessment, career development, organization development, and organizational transitions in internal and external roles.  Joani’s corporate experience spans ten different industries, plus work in higher education and not for profit settings. Her expertise includes innovative work that strengthens leadership and organizational capability, employee engagement, and diversity, equity and inclusion to accelerate positive impact. 

She is a Senior Consultant with AAIM Employers Association. Previously she was Director of Coaching with a start-up nonprofit, Director of Learning and Women in Leadership Program Facilitator for FOCUS St. Louis, an Executive Coach and Consultant with a global consulting company, and Associate Director of Career Management at Maryville University.

Joani holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and master’s degree in Organizational Leadership & Development from Maryville University.  She completed her coach training as a Master Business Coach and Performance Leadership Coach with B-Coach Systems. She is a graduate of Class 57 Women in Leadership Program, and FOCUS Diversity Leadership Fellowship Program.

In addition to the Diversity Leadership Fellowship Program, Joani’s DEI training also includes completing the YWCA’s Witnessing Whiteness program, participation in Ameren’s DEI Leadership Summit and the St. Louis Racial Equity Summits.

Additionally, Joani is a member of the St. Louis Organization Development Network where she has served on their Board for over 10 years. She also is a member of the Lewis & Clark chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.

She is Dare to Lead trained, a Certified Happiness Trainer, Certified in the Birkman and MBTI assessments, and experienced working with 15 other leadership assessment tools, including the Strengthsfinder, DISC, Hogan, Predictive Index, FIRO-B and EQi 2.0.
