Land Acknowledgement for the Greater St. Louis, Missouri area
We acknowledge that we are on the ancestral lands of the 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰𐓓𐒷 𐒼𐓂𐓊𐒻 𐓆𐒻𐒿𐒷 𐓀𐒰^𐓓𐒰^ (Osage), O-ga-xpa Ma-zhoⁿ (Quapaw), Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Sioux), Kaskaskia, Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo), Missouri, Illini Confederacy, and Myaamia (Miami) peoples—who have stewarded this land and the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers since time immemorial. We pay respect to their elders past and present, and thank them for their stewardship of this land.
