Heroes are sought after, villains are feared, viewers are forgotten, and victims are avoided. When people complain, blame, and whine, they miss out on opportunities because they are seen as incapable of succeeding. To attract the best better opportunities and people into your life, you need to cast yourself in the right role. Learn how to change your narrative and be the hero of your story.

Learning Objectives:
The different roles we cast ourselves in and why
How to identify the hero, villain, viewer, and victim
How to tell your stories as the hero
How to tell your vulnerability story without becoming vulnerable

Competencies addressed:  Listens Actively, Cultivates Trust and Safety, Evokes Awareness

Participants will earn .75 Core Competency and .75 Resource Development CCEs for atteding in this program.



Meet the Speaker Shannon Peel

Shannon Peel has over 30 years experience in marketing, sales, advertising, and storytelling. Due to her insatiable curiosity and desire to learn new things, Shannon has a unique skill set enabling her to see how all the pieces of a brand story come together to guide an audience from brand awareness to brand advocacy. She recently published her interactive, multimedia digital book called BrandAPeel: Brand Storytelling in the Digital Age filled with videos, podcast episodes, and downloadable workbooks to help small businesses define their brands and create content to tell their stories.
