Julie Bergfeld is Life Coach, specializing in the body’s innate wisdom. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher with more than 1500 hours of training, 14 years of teaching, 6 years of yoga studio ownership. Bergfeld grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and resided both in Texas and Boston for many years, moving back to the St. Louis region to care for aging parents. She is a Tiny Habits Coach and currently a coach-in-training with the Human Potential Institute and working towards ICF (International Coaching Federation) certification. Bergfeld’s calling is to connect with others seeking deeper means of living from a place of bodily awareness. Much of her work is an embodiment practice, and specifically she works with women who feel stuck and men who want to get more in tune with their innate senses.
Bergfeld had degrees in French Literature and Journalism and worked for many years in academia training faculty to use technology effectively in their teaching. Technology burn-out led to the mindful practices of both yoga and mindfulness meditation, still practiced today. In addition to the training and education, Bergfeld struggled for many years with nutrition and found a best fit in living grain, dairy, soy, alcohol and nightshade free. Coaching and consulting in these areas is available based on her experience.
